A yet to be identified Chief Superintendent of Police on Tuesday disregarded an order by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to vacate the Magodo Phase 2 Estate area of the state.

In disregarding the order, the CSP said he and his armed colleagues are "here on instruction of the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba.

The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, visited the scene of the protest staged by Magodo residents over possible eviction.
