If we notice there is a hindrance within us (such as ‘sloth and torpor’), we do not need to judge this hindrance as ‘bad’ or ‘wrong’. For example, if we become sleepy during meditation, we can bring care and curiosity to this experience rather than judging it or trying to ‘fix’ it.
