Following my 2020 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special build series - in this video I install the Hofmann Designs Carbon Fiber Rear Fender. The Hofmann Designs carbon fiber rear fender will fit 2009-2020 Harley-Davidson baggers / touring models.
My factory Harley-Davidson fender weighed-in at just over 6lbs with absolutely no hardware and completely stripped, since I already reduced my rear setup by going with the much lighter, Letric Lighting Co rear lights. So, for most of you, you’re going to see a weight savings of 10+ pounds by switching to the Hofmann Designs carbon fiber rear fender and the Letric Lighting saddlebag filler support LED rear lights.
Many of you might be wondering if the carbon fiber can come in a matt finish and the answer is yes. My carbon fiber rear fender is in the ‘High Gloss” finish in case you were curious to know.
