Auerbach Center -- President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens spoke to the media at media day about this year's Celtics team. Stevens hopes Ime Udoka can bring something to the team that he couldn't saying: ' "We have to rely on our competitiveness. We have a lot of defensive versatility. We have a number of different ways we can play. On offense, how do we accentuate our best players?" He went on to say: "We have to rely on our competitiveness. We have a lot of defensive versatility. We have a number of different ways we can play. On offense, how do we accentuate our best players?". Coach Ime Udoka is also not present today after a recent positive covid test. Stevens talked about vaccination of the team: "Our hope is that we get to 100% as soon as possible. At the same time, everyone has to make that decision for themselves. As far as Ime (Udoka), he's been asymptomatic. Thankfully he's vaccinated, so it hasn't hit him like many others."
