In this talk, Danielle discusses ways in which our relief and aid efforts can sometimes do more harm than good and shares insights we can use to ensure that any help we provide empowers the recipient by providing the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to achieve a better, sustainable future. Danielle Flood is the Communications Manager at ECHO, an international organization that works to find innovative and sustainable ways for small-scale farmers around the world to improve their harvests, reducing global hunger and poverty. She has traveled to more than 20 countries while championing agricultural development through hands-on training and knowledge sharing.
