How will consumers benefit from the Tesla and Toyota COOPERATION?
The first benefit for customers is having a lower price. Using low cost is to gain a competitive advantage in the automotive industry. This cooperation achieves its cost leadership strategy by adopting lean production, careful choice, and control of suppliers. Therefore, the vehicle coming to customers' hands will have the most suitable price.
The biggest concern of Tesla car buyers is the lack of charging stations when traveling far away from home. Therefore, the second benefit is buyers don’t have to worry about where to charge their cars. The fast-charging station will develop at high speed due to Tesla supercharger service in partnership with Toyota showroom supplier networks all over the world, blowing away all of these concerns.
When purchasing a new car, you’re making an investment in a brand that offers reliability and value. However, even the most dependable vehicles break down occasionally, which is when the warranty comes in handy. Toyota warranty facilities are present in all places and will provide customer needed service right away. This also leads to the third advantage, low servicing costs.

Tesla's stock price continued to rise even after overtaking Toyota, the first in terms of the industry's market capitalization, in July 2020. Specifically, Tesla is tasked with achieving an advantage of scale, with just 500,000 vehicles sold last year. If an alliance with Toyota is formed, Tesla could gain enormous power to expand mass production faster and at a lower cost.
Toyota is a legacy automaker attempting to break into the EV segment. Toyota is not even willingly switching to EVs, as claimed by some industry observers.
