Seeking God’s Leading in the Area of Dating | How to Discern “God’s Voice”

Hiya! Welcome!!! This is my SECOND VLOG! WOohoo!!!

My name is Ginger de Guia. I am an artist and a teacher who hopes to inspire, encourage, and empower the single unique YOU! As a single woman who has gone through some high’s and low’s in life, I hope to help you through my learnings and reflection times.

______

“Is he the one for me?”
“Should I go on more dates with him?”
“God, what do you think about this?”
“Lord, what should I do next?”

Today’s topic is close to my heart. It is about seeking God’s leading in the area of dating.

Biblically, God wants to bless us with our desires and when it comes to the matters of the heart, it can get tricky because our emotions are involved. It can also be quite confusing and cause a bit of insecurity when we ask God to “light the way” to the one for us.

But why do we want God to give us direction? So that we don’t have to be in relationships that we were never meant to be in and that we can save ourselves from a lot of heartbreak and disorder.

Today, I hope to shed some light on what the Bible says about knowing whether or not God is in favor of your dating relationship. As you go along with the video, I do not mean to suggest that people’s opinions matter more than God’s leading to you through your own Bible reading. But learning from the Bible characters and stories in the video can give us insight on what God thinks about the person you’re praying for and if what you want is truly something that God wills for you.

At the end of this video, there’s also a Word for those who are going through a heartbreak or disappointing time in your life. May it be an encouragement for you.

If this video helped you in any way, PLEASE share this video! You’ll never know who might need to hear this!

*If you guys have a good video editor, please suggest a good one. I’m sorry the audio was weird. I tried my best.
