NSW Minister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope says there are “discussions taking place” regarding fines for unvaccinated people trying to enter a business.
“Public health orders will make provision for the circumstances under which people will not be allowed to enter a business premises,” Mr Tudehope told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“As I understand it, they can be as much as $5000 for a person entering in circumstances where they’re unvaccinated.
“I think it ranges from $1000 to $5000 depending upon the level of breach.
“They’re the sort of discussions taking place, but when the public health order is drafted it’ll be clear as to its terms.”
