The poor dog who had spent years being neglected with severe mange

This poor dog rescued by Jamie's Animal Rescue:
"Meet Michaela. Her new life started a month ago. She had spent years being neglected just to have her owners surrender her to a high kill shelter and lie about her age to request euthanasia. Then that same shelter had a distemper outbreak right after she got out. To say she caught the first lucky break of her life , is a understatement.
It’s been slow progress on her healthy journey. She has gained 13 lbs in a month and is able to walk/ move better. She will always have a limp that causes her to drag her hind paw a bit because of a previous injury that healed incorrectly. Her eyes still have ulcers so we are switching up meds. She is growing in some peach fuzz in places but overall her skin has still been terrible despite treating the Demodex mange. Her skin culture finally came back and she has 3 different bacterial infections that have been resistant to the 3 antibiotics I’ve tried. She also had bad bacterial infections in her ears.
She has started on two new antibiotics that the culture states the bacterial organisms should be susceptible too and she is going back to the vet once a week to have her ears packed for infections.
She has three loves- a dog bed , a bully stick, and and a bowl of food. She literally doesn’t care about anything else right now. She just goes from dog bed to dog bed. Her tail does wag a lot now though which means her spirit is healing as well. Please help and prayers for her."
