In a Facebook post on Thursday (Aug 5), Finance Minister Lawrence Wong said that he and his fellow Covid-19 task force co-chairs would be give an update on Singapore's situation soon.
Separately, in an update on Wednesday night, the Health Ministry said as at Aug 3, 64 per cent of the population are fully vaccinated, while 77 per cent have received at least one dose.

Meanwhile, there has been chatter online, following news that safe distancing enforcement officers can enter, inspect and search premises including residences without a warrant, in order to check whether Covid-19 regulations are being complied with. Earlier this week, actor Nick Mikhail, posted videos on Instagram, questioning why people from the Urban Redevelopment Authority and police officers could enter his home on July 31st without a warrant or court order.
