Attractions can consider letting in only COVID-19 vaccinated visitors: Infectious diseases expert

Infectious diseases expert Paul Tambyah said attractions could consider letting in only vaccinated visitors to prevent clusters from seeding in crowded, interactive settings. Marina Bay Sands has shut its casino until Aug 5 after a cluster emerged on Aug 21. While the Health Ministry has yet to announce how the spread happened, Dr Tambyah said the enclosed settings of casinos make transmission inevitable, especially if someone with a high viral load isn't vaccinated. Meanwhile, Resorts World Sentosa is operating at a reduced capacity of 25%.
